Located at a public boat landing on Toogoodoo Creek. A very
quiet, peaceful area but unfortunately doesn’t have any place to
really sit and enjoy the view---unless you happen to bring a
chair.
I did some research trying to find the origins of the name
Toogoodoo. The only reference I found was that it was the name
given to the creek and the area by the Bantu (African) slaves who
worked the plantations surrounding it. The word translates loosely
as “I have plenty/ My life is bountiful”. So---I wish the same to
you---that you have plenty in life—that your life is bountiful.
This is a fairly quiet and under utilized boat landing so
muggles should not be too big a problem. It is basically a park and
grab.
The cache is a decon container. Besides the log and pen there
are a couple small trinkets for trade. There is a FTF prize of a
2007 Compass Rose Geocoin (unactivated) to do with as you wish.
