4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache
The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.
If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Tanunda established in 1848, developed from the progressive merging of Langmeil and other nearby villages. The name comes from the aboriginal word-meaning waterhole. Tanunda has retained much of its original charm and historical atmosphere. Tanunda grew fairly rapidly in the nineteenth century. The main road ran north through the town, and it had a Government Post Office and 2 large hotels in the main street.
Tanunda's importance as a service centre is reflected in many of its historic buildings, including the old market square (Billygoat Square), the four Lutheran churches, (the result of differences amongst the early settlers), the former Post Office and Telegraph Station, Police Station, Court House and Town Hall.
This station, which was opened 9/9/1911, is unfortunately one several now disused along this line. It backs on to one of the local wineries Château Tanunda which is Open daily 10am – 5pm. If you are going to taste some of the local fare then please drink responsibly.
The cache is small & camouflaged, please bring a pen.
There is some evidence of snake activity in the area so please watch out in the warmer months.
