18 Kilometers to the West of Windhoek lies Daan Viljoen. It is a small game park. There will be an entrance fee of $10 a car + $10 for each adult. Children are free. The cache can be reached via the game drive (+ - 300 meters from one of the lookout points)or by walking from the camp site (+ - 1,8 Kilometers) The walk is realy something. We saw lots of animals (Oryx, Wildebeest, Girafes, Hardebeest, Warthogs) which are quite tame. When we instaled the cache an Eland was watching only 30 Meters away. The cache is a brown metal box with a little plastic snake on top. It is hatched to a tree stump by a wire rope. The metalbox is closed by a keyring. In the box are : the log book, Geocache Note, 2 pencils, 1 pen, a spare keyring. These items should stay in the box. Items for trading are the following - a witch, racing car, lucky stone, lapelpin.
