Geocache Description:

Gram Kirke er bygget som en romansk kirke i 1200 med skib kor og apsis. Tårnet med de 4 gavle og pyramidespiret er fra slutningen af 1400-tallet.
Omkring 1600 blev apsis brudt ned og koret forlænget til kirkens nuværende udseende.
Granitdøbefonden er kirkens oprindelige. Selvfølgelig med "nyt" dåbsfad fra 1500.
Den flotte prædikestol er produceret i Varde i 1620, mens altertavlen fra 1715 har malerier af Johannes Holm, Haderslev

Originally built as a roman church from 1200 with nave, choir and apse.
The tower with 4 gables and pyramidal spire is from 1400. About 1600 the apse was pulled down and the choir extended.
The granite font is the original - of course with a "new" dish from 1550.
The fine pulpit is made in Varde and the altarpiece from 1715 has paintings by Johannes Holm, Haderslev.
