Geocache Description:

A walk through woodland which can be muddy at times, due to recent forest operations. Small container.

Due to "Slade Brook Series 1" being unavailable, the code contained within is A = 5, B = 6
Park outside St Briavels Castle and Church N51 44.304 W002 38.457
This is the second cache in a series of 4 which will take you on a 2.5 mile circular walk from the village of St Briavels. Each cache follows in sequence onto the next and in each of the first 3 there is some code that will help you find the 4th and final cache of the series.
The beautiful clear waters of Slade Brook flow to the river Wye. Immediately North of the brook on the 185 metre contour line evidence of a Mesolithic (Pre 4000 BC) camp-site has been found.

After collecting the clues follow Slade Brook downstream keeping to the track on the left of the brook. Eventually you will cross the stream on a footbridge to your right.

At the co-ordinates listed above answer these two questions:-
How many pipes take Slade Brook underneath the path at this point

Answer = A

What colour are the pipes?
Convert your answer to a set of numbers using the keypad of a mobile phone to give a set of numbers representing BCDEF

The main cache can be found at N 51 44.(A+C)(C+D+E)A W 002 38.E(F-E)B
