A memorial park in Newport, Delaware.
This is the site of the Bicentennial Memorial to those who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America from Newport, Delaware. This small memorial park was dedicated by the Town of Newport, Delaware in 2002. It houses small plaques for veterans of the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, the Vietnam Conflict, and the Korean Conflict. The centerpiece of the park is a VERY large gun that appears to have come from a ship. Perhaps a history buff can tell us about the gun in a post.
