The Dark Side of Riffster Creek Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

kleetus: It was a long bushwhack in here from the north. I am going to re-hide this can in a new location. It's just too much work getting here for maintenance. Thanks to all who came and enjoyed it. It is a real pretty place where it was hidden.

Geocache Description:

AUGUST 23, 2013 UPDATE. STILLWATER HOA PUT UP A NO TRESPASSING SIGN> RIVER CACHE ONLY FOR THE TIME BEING.

Over a river and through the woods. No trail but there are game trails. Watch for fire ants on the crossing. I crossed on a fallen tree. The difficulty will certainly change depending on the time of year.

Well stocked ammo can because if you go through this much trouble you deserve one. The name is from two sources: One, because I've had this ammo can since the 70's. I used it to put a collection of patches in. I put some of the extra patches I had in here for trade. There is a sticker from the Pink Floyd album "Dark Side of the Moon" on the side of it. I covered it with cammo tape. If you want peel back the tape to see it. Two, after Clan Rifster whose bushwacking caches I have thoroughly enjoyed. Usually with a well camouflaged ammo can at the end. Mine is not that well cammoed. My description isn't that great either.

(I switched ammo cans because the one I had since the 70's had sentimental value. It is now a regular old Al's Army Navy ammo can with no more PF DSoTM sticker on it).

Inside are coordinates for Minty Bleu Ecks.
