In Town of Greenfield historic site, park and cache. Ammo box was stolen so it is now a small tube.
This was the site of an old train station, called Kings. There is an old caboose and train station building left. You can go up and look at the caboose and look in the windows of the building. There was a motor vehicle accident here in the fall (2006) and a young man was killed when his car went off the road and hit the caboose. I removed the previous cache out of respect. The cache was originally called Throw Daddy from the Train. I placed it to honor my Dad for Father's Day of 2006. The Town of Greenfield is currently reviewing whether to repair the caboose or leave it as is. If renovations do start to occur, please be mindful of this when caching as workmen/women may be working right on cache location! Cache is unlikely to be detected by muggles. Cache items include a couple toys for geo-tykes, 2 geo-buttons, a CITO coin, and for the FTF two Make your own sundae certificates from Stewarts! Bring your own pencil/pen! Congrats to Fink007 for FTF!
Update: The work on the caboose has been completed and the original cache was actually found by one of the repairmen who was interested in geocaching. Cache is now a smaller tube container as the ammo can was stolen. I have heard there is also a letterbox here.
