Geocache Description:

You are sure to see at least one whale at this location!

A nice little spot to stop and look at the ocean and if you’re lucky you may even see a real whale! Some of my customers here in Depot bay have told me that the whales like to come up close to the bay and rub against the rocks to brush away barnacles giving people a spectacular view. If your not here during migration time there is still a lot to see. Here you will find a lava tube out from the sea wall that just might give you a soaking as well as several memorial plaques as a tribute to those that have lost their lives to the sea. You will also find plenty of places to sit back relax and take it all in.

There is no need to climb over the sea wall and I don't recommend it. There is room for very small trade items and coins.

We enjoy reading everyones logs when they find our cache hides and appreciate when they say more than TNLN or THX.
