Geocache Description:

This is an ammo can located in a Chesapeake City Park. The park is open from sunrise to sunset only. This was my very first hide back in March of 2007.

This cache is located in a Chesapeake Park not far from the City Hall, Court House, Sherriff's department and the correctional facility. Don't worry, it is safe. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Please do not seek this cache after dark. Be aware that there is wildlife in this area. You may encounter deer on the meadow in the early morning and late afternoon. Original contents include a Yellow Jeep TB, A United for Diabetes TB, My Camp Jeep 2000 TB, a pristine 1973 Boy Scout Jamboree patch, a Star Wars watch and other surprises.
This park recently underwent some modifications in 2016-2017 to accommodate construction on the nearby jail facilities. The park's parking area was relocated very near the original cache location. During that renovation, the original cache seems to have gone missing so I replaced the entire thing with a new ammo can. It is fully stocked with swag.
