Soaring NEW Eagles: After several attempts to keep a container in this location, it's just not working. Amazing how someone not looking for something can find it over and over but it was so difficult for the cachers. Fun while it lasted.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Henes Park!

This cache is placed as a tribute to John Henes who had the vision to graciously donate the land that is now Henes park to the residents of Menominee, Michigan September 30, 1907. Thanks John. This is a great family park with hiking/biking trails, a beach, playgrounds, picnic tables, and plenty of beautiful views of Green Bay. Take some time to enjoy the park while there and maybe even take a "free" bike from the racks in the summertime.
The park is closed to vehicles from fall to spring.
This is our second cache in the park. There are also a few letterboxes here if you are into that. www.letterboxing.org (Oh no, another thing to get hooked on??)
You are searching for a 35mm film canister with camo tape around the outside which contains only a log book.
Have fun and enjoy the park!
