Geocache Description:


In myth, mysticism and religion, the earth has often been represented by the square. Eternity is nearly always represented by the circle. If you arrange two squares offset by 45 degrees (earth) within a circle (eternity), the resulting shape at the center is an octagon. Octagons are imbued with special powers. They were often used in sacred structures. The Chaldeans used the octagon in temples dedicated to the moon. Modern man has imbued the octagon with equal mystical powers. The octagon today has the power to stop men, women, children and even entire armies with its mere presence. You will find this cache hidden on or near a modern octagon of power. Muggles abound near the sites where octagons of power have been placed, so stealth is required. Be sure to replace the cache as you found it so that the guardians of the octagon are not angered and remove the cache.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO ON PRIVATE PROPERTY TO RETRIEVE THE CACHE. Cache can be reached from the sidewalk.
While on a recent maintenance run, it has come to my attention that certain cachers are tearing the bottom off log sheets in my caches. This is unacceptable behavior. If you are found to have done this, your log will be deleted. Please respect my efforts and other cachers and do not modify my caches without my permission.
