the cache is located near a concrete structure on howsley road in southeastern sutter county. the old structure caught my eye because of the date "1931" etched into it. also, you will probably need an extraction device, such as a leatherman.
in 1931 16% of our country was unemployed and the great depression was showing no signs of letting up. the gangster al capone was sentenced to prison. thomas edison died. the empire state building was completed, and the electron microscope was developed. guy lombardo and paul whiteman were the most popular orchestras, along with a new singer named bing crosby. a new car cost $700 and a gallon of gas cost 10 cents. things certainly have changed since then...
