Geocache Description:

A top spot for a swim on a hot day, and an easy cache to find while your here.

Many years ago my partner and I used to frequent this spot when we first got together, just about every day we would walk down here and go for a swim. Not much has changed in the last 13 or so years. It`s still a great spot to swim during the warmer months, and many travel out from town to swim here. There is also fish here if you would like to throw a line in, and most afternoons and evenings you can find someone here fishing. No great significance to the area, other than it was an old dredge hole from the gold rush era, now full of water. Although this cache is located away from the average user of the area, be wary of muggles that could be watching from a picnic bench a little higher up. You will be looking for a small 200ml clip top container.
