Anyone who has cached for a little while has become quite
familiar with the kinds and quality of typical trade items in
caches. Here is my tribute to the fast food toys that you hate to
find but kids tend to like.
Aside from the joys of finding the toys, there was another down
side to McToys for me personally. My kids began to dump their
excess swag on me, until I ended up with a big bucket full of them
in my car trunk. Yippee!!
When I cache with my kids, they love to hunt the non-micros
because these caches have this loot but the kids aren't into the
long hikes, which most non-micros require. Well, not this one. A
quick walk from the parking is all it takes.
The cache container is a camouglaged, plastic bucket, filled
with goodies. I am not too sure how well the bucket will stay dry
so please let me know if you observe any problems.
02/2011 Update - I moved the cache in 12/10 to get
away from teh hobo camp that parked itselt on top of the cache.
Still, it is still close by (~150 feet), so be aware of this. As
long as you stay near the paved path, you shold not bump into it.
Hopef7ully it will go away someday.
