Another little two-stage cache hunt that starts at a precisely located benchmark.
This cache hunt begins at exactly N33 59’ 17.36781”, W 84 31’ 53.0159”, the location of a brass disk at ground level which has a witness post a short distance away. The elevation at the benchmark is 1137.3394 feet. Please note your error reading at the benchmark in your log.
Stand at the benchmark and look 147 degrees magnetic. About 110 feet away, you will see a number that gives the location of a “Cornerstone”. That number is “X”.
To find the cache, go 3378.2 + X feet at 271.02 degrees true and look for a 50-cal ammo box. (Magnetic declination at Cornerstone is currently -4.065 degrees if you choose to use it.)
Be sure to completely cover the cache when finished.
