Quick & EASY multi
Nova Scotia is famous for its diverse forests. At this cache site, we have a prime example with predominantly hardwood and softwood stands growing in close proximity. From your parking spot, you will only be required to travel from the 1st part in a stand of hardwood to the softwood stand on the other side of the road.
Where the multi begins is a beautiful natural stand of stately hardwood trees. A key element to its growth is the rich soil of the area.
Just a few feet away across the road is a managed lot of spruce. Notice the even spacing, the straight rows, and the uniform size of the trees. This few acres of ground has been carefully managed to produce the maximum amount of good quality trees possible for this site. Although this is somewhat of a rare sight in our area, many European countries have been literally farming timberland for many years.
Cache contains usual log, pencil, FTF certificate, TB and other items for trade.
