Geocache Description:

The other day, I had put out a cache at Old National Pike Mile Marker 33. Driving further I had noticed what appeared to be another mile marker, but I wasn't sure as there didn't appear to be any writing on it.

Just to be sure, I hit the trip odometer to measure the distance from 33. Sure enough, it is Mile 34. Though this marker seems to have fared a bit poorly, if you look very closely you can see the remains of the inscription. The upper half of the 3 is a bit rough, but you can clearly see the "4" and the "to B", for "to Baltimore".

Once again, for a more detailed writeup of the Old National Pike, I would refer you to lpyankeefan's series in Washington County.

This cache has a pin as a FTF prize, as well as a couple of pathtags which one is welcome to collect, and a Benchmark Micro coin headed off on its maiden voyage.

As with most of these remaining markers, there is parking but please use caution as traffic is near.
