Westies Walks: Yateley Heath Woods 1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Westie Walker: The area has been destroyed and there is now nowhere to place a replacement.

I realise that the forrestry commision is a business but they have destroyed the areas around where I have put the series and spoilt a nice dog walking area. (Time for these to Bite the dust i'm afraid)

Geocache Description:

Collect the clues to find the Multi cache YHW4. One of Westies first walks in Yateley Heath Woods, total distance of about 1 mile. Ideal for exercising your Terrier or Toddler. Good paths of sand and pebbles up unti 200 feet from the cache where you will have to enter woodland.

Parking just north of the Blackbushe Rd, there is parking for about 8 cars at N 51, 18, 446 W 000, 51, 092. Be Careful of dogs and children as cars drive too fast along this Rd.

Paths should be Ok for the Jogging style pushchairs but the small wheel or lightweight ones will not get far. I normally do not have to bathe Westie afer our walks in this area so not too muddy.

I hope that you enjoy this walk as much as Westie does; the area is Forestry Commission land and a very pleasant walk, not far from home.

You are looking for a large Ammo box, Cache placed under forestry comission guidelines.

Be aware of westies friends and their owners walking in the area and mountain bike riders that also use this area, enjoy the walk and the cache area.

While in the area you might want to do Heffalump007's caches at the nearby Blackbushe Airport (Follow Link)
