Geocache Description:

A quick easy find at a heritage marker along Highway 12 adjacent to Rimrock Lake. The cache container is a 1 1/3Qt. loc-box.

This cache was placed at a roadside heritage marker. Stop and read about John and Adella Russell who settled at this spot in 1884. They lived and farmed along the Tieton river until the property was bought and the dam was built. According to the info placard, remnants of their homestead can still be seen at times of low water.

A First To Find dogtag was left in the cache for the early bird.
