Easy walk from the Clarksburg VA park on an abandoned railbed.
When this abandonded railbed grows up it wants to be a rail trail. The tracks were removed long ago. People are already using it as a rail trail, even though it may not have an official designation.
Park near the skate park and baseball fields at the Clarksburg VA park. The park closes at dark. The gate is locked. I note this because there is a local cacher notorious for getting locked into parks after they close.
Follow the arrow on the GPSr to the cache location. The container is a painted 1.2L Lock-N-Lock. Please rehide the container as well as possible. I've left some additional natural hiding material near the cache.
This is an excellent candidate for a rail trail connecting downtown Clarksburg to the VA park.
