WHEN: We'll meet on Sunday April 22nd at 8am and be ready to start picking up the trash by 8:30am.
WHERE: The parking lot at the coords is the where we will meet to get our cute little vests, great big trash bags, sign the waivers etc.
WHO: NDOT rules say no one under 18 can join in the roadside trash pickup but they are allowed to stay in the parking lot as long as someone will be responsible for them.
WHAT YOU NEED: Dress the part how you see fit. Gloves, long sleeves and pants are a good idea. Also sunscreen, hats and water if you like. Lots of folks already have those handy little trigger pull trash picker uppers. They are great for reaching into prickly desert shrubberies as well as saving your back from all the bending over.
If you have a pickup you will be driving and are willing to haul trash to the pickup area please let us know in your logs or email us thru our profile.
If you want to help but do not want to pick up trash we could us someone to go to Calico Basin and stake out an area for the picnic and help get it set up. If not then one of us (Penny Lane I'm sure) will take care of that. SOOOOOOO, bring a dish and we'll be BBQing.
Just like for the last couple of CITO's there will be things hidden along the route that just "might" be your ticket to a prize.
