Geocache Description:

Kildalvan Chapel

Cache is located near the site of Kildalvan Chapel. All that remains of the Chapel are some turf covered footings and a burial mound located at N56* 03.277' W005* 11.009'

You may also wish to visit Kildalvan Cup Marked GC11QP which is located a few hundred metres away on the hillside at the ruins of Kildalvan township.

Glendaruel has the ruins of at least four sizeable settlements that were abandoned during the late 18th or 19th centuries. As in many parts of the West Highlands, the population here was much greater in the mid-19th century than it is now.

Parking available on the West Road next to a cattle grid N56* 03.001' W005* 10.990'

Camping & Caravaning is available close by on a family run site at Glendaruel Caravan & Camping Park
