This Multi-Stage cache will take you to some of the more scenic
sights within this Preserve. It is highly recomended that you wear
water proof boots, bring water to drink, extra GPS batteries, and a
hiking stick to push away the snakes. This is not a quick "in and
out" cache. Plan on being in the woods for a few hours (hint
#1).
How many stages? More than 1, less than 10.
Posted coordinates will take you to the first stage.
If you have found...
Applesauce??.. No, Not Applesauce, by
Tiwica. OR
Pickles??... No Not Pickles, by
Shamrock Bones,
then this cache should be just as fun (if you thought they were fun
that is).
Your looking for small aluminum tags fasten to objects within
the woods with the next stage coordinates stamped on them. Some of
the tags are in plain sight, others are hidden. All are very winter
friendly (hint #2).
Geopets are welcome here, but they will will come out of the
woods very muddy (hint #3)
The terrain and diffculty rating depends on the time of year you
venture out to complete this cache.
A terrain with frozen ground, and light snow cover will be the
easiest (2-1/2 star), while the wet spring months will be the
hardest (4 star) due to the swamp you will be treking through. The
same goes for the diffculty rating. Winter months with out tree
cover will be the easiest (2-1/2 star), while the summer months
with the trees in full canopy will make this a definite challenge
at (4 star).
