The Pocono Indian Museum is the only museum in Northeastern Pennsylvania dedicated to showing the history of the Delaware Indian. The museum will both inform and, perhaps, shock you. It will show the North American history of man in Northeastern Pennsylvania from 10,500 B.C. to the contact period with European man prior to the American Revolution. It will show the Delaware Indians' peaceful coexistence with other Indians. And, it will show you the shocking and short 100 years it took the white man to virtually eliminate almost all traces of the Indians' existence.
The Pocono Indian Museum traces the history of the Delawares through displays of ancient artifacts, weapons, and tools that form chronological commentary on life among the Indians for thousands of years.
Malcolm Law has owned Pocono Indian Museum with his wife since 1976, and there have been customers who never left. Recently, ghost busters came to investigate, and they concluded that there were apparitions.
“One of the shoeboxes was open on the ground, next to a chair. It was like someone was trying on moccasins in the middle of the night,” Law said. This has happened multiple times.

Winter hours: 10:00am to 5:30 pm.
Admission: Adults $5.00, Children 6 to 12 yrs. $2.50 Children under six are FREE. You do not need to enter the museum to find this cache.
