Her Majesty's Lookout Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions

The co-ordinates are not the cache location. Read long description. This walk around Cottle Lake park gives some great views. The main path is well built but the last few minutes are along a deer trail and gets a bit steep for about 20 meters. The rest is not too difficult at all. The total distance one way is about 1km.
(The above co-ordinates are not for the cache location but a starting point for your final search)
Although there are a few entry points into the park the best parking location is at N49º 13.014' W123º59.056'. Across the road is a sign indicating the start of the path and includes a map of the trails within the park.
Running shoes would be fine on dry days but heavier footwear with better grip would be advised on wet days.
The easiest route to her Majesty's lookout involves following the path to this location N49º13.176' W123º58.580' where you will find a trail leading away from the main path.
Keep to the trails while making your way to the lookout. The less the moss is disturbed the better.
Once you reach the lookout you will need to look around for her Majesty who happens to be trying to blend in with the commoners. Although there are other royalty around, her Majesty is one of the tallest and you will find the cache at her feet.
