Original Cache Owners description: "Bring pen. Hilly, gravel path. Creek flows over path after very heavy rain.
The path follows the right-of-ways for part of SE 292nd and 116th Ave SE. The city brought water/sewer through here for Alder Meadows.
Parking Coordinates are: Removed 11/12/09
This was one of my first cache finds and I feel it is a great place for a cache.
With the passing of the original cache owner it was going to be archived. I will be maintaining this cache. ( Thank you Joyce.)
I believe on April 1, 2007 Snowfire22 tried to update the coordinates, either due to flooding or a treehouse being constructed near the cache location. And because of it being over an X distance from the original location it would not allow him to change/update.
I have left the original pictures so you can see how the road has overgrown in a few years and upped the terrain to a two. (Wheelchairs can not make the final grab.)
This is a City easement, but please be respectful of neighbors.
Parking: I'll walk you in. Drive from the North on 118th Ave SE, park toward the end of 118th next to the storm pond, walk south on 118th until the end of the street, look right(west) there will be 4 wooden bollards. This is the start of the easement. And yes... it is an easement, trust me it was there well before the houses were.
I'm looking forward to all feedback.
And lastly... If it doesn't go anywhere, it probably doesn't come from anywhere either.
Thanks,
B-M
