Geocache Description:

Welcome to Splinterville. Parking is available at the Mather Regional Park located at N38 33.421 W121 15.575. Bring good shoes and some water during your adventures along this nice little nature trail.

For all you "Obsessed Types", this cache will be an interesting choice for The Sacramento Valley Quadrangle Challenge (visit link) . The cache is on the exact boundary between the Carmichael quadrangle and the Buffalo Creek quadrangle. So you should be able to use it for either choice (probably not for both however ).

The cache is an ammo can so should be any easy find - the reward is the hike .

Like most of the area caches please be careful of our slithery friends and the rest of the natural bugaboos like ticks. During our adventures we saw pheasants, ducks, geese, swans, turkeys (had a few in the crowd), and even crazy simian.
