Yet another Bike-path cache.
OK, winter's over! Dust off the Strand Cruiser and get this one. We got requests for more bike-path caches, so here's the first new one. Not a micro either!
It's a 12-oz plastic jar, camo'd to match surroundings, hidden 1 meter west of the bike path. No need to trample ice-plant, look for the only place such a cache could be. It's marginally wheelchair accessible, but you'd need help retrieving and re-hiding, due to loose sand. If you have balloon tires, no problem.
This place is muggle city sometimes, especially on the weekends, so be stealthy. The people walking or living on the Strand have a bird's-eye view.
There's a safe place, OFF the bike path, to park your bike nearby. Those cachers who drive are going to have to scramble for free parking up the hill, or park in a pay lot (26th St. is closest).
There's some OK swag (mostly kid stuff) in it; be sure to trade even. Please hide it carefully, or it won't last.
