The coords listed above are near the Eagle Project of SR, a Scout who earned his Eagle Rank while a member of a BSA Troop in Clearwater, FL. No sign or plaque gives credit where credit is due. By placing this cache, we hope to do so.
SR has always LOVED music and entertainment,
and the sound of birds is some of the most entertaining in the world.
Have you ever been to the end of Philippe Park
There are parking spaces and a short boardwalk into the neighborhood. We encourage you to walk onto the boardwalk, to appreciate the view, and try to identify some of the birds from the information kiosk. This SR's Eagle project -
- thanks for taking the time to check it out. Once you decide to go for the cache, you'll be looking for a match container. Not much in it to start. Along the route there, enjoy the entertainment offered by the birds playing and singing in their home turf.
We've located the cache at a reasonable distance so you won't have the prying eyes of the local GeoMuggles scrutinizing you so directly. However, you will still have to be discreet! Though this park rarely needs it, making use of a CITO bag is one of the quickest ways to get a GeoMuggle to lose interest in your activities.
We placed this cache with the permission of KH, the Pinellas County Parks
Ranger/Manager for Philippe Park. Please respect any posted rules of
Philippe Park, especially speed limits and parking guidelines.
Philippe Park is open from dawn until dusk,
and also closes when the park is full.
~~ Have a blessed day. Happy caching. ~~
