Hotwheels Trading Station Mystery Cache
nyhotwheels: Unfortunately, the cache has been stolen. Thanks to everybody who has visited my cache. Since I have migrated west I will not be able to replace or maintain this cache, so it is time to archive it. Should you be in the Bay Area, look for version 2. A short, easy, child friendly cache you can combine with a visit to the library.
By now you might have guessed that we have a big Hotwheels fan in the family. He also likes geocaching, but it’s not him who is addicted. He prefers the quick and easy ones with a big loot at the end. Multi-crypto-micro-caches are for grown-ups. Alright, here we go then, for all of you out there in a similar situation. This is a nice easy cache located at the new, shiny Clifton Park public library. And at the end, there will be Hotwheels waiting.
Now for the cache:
The I.P. brings you to the entrance of the library. Park your car or bike and go inside. You will have to go there during opening hours to answer the following questions for the final coordinates:
N 42 51.abc W 073 47.def
abc = The Hotwheels collector number for the BMW M1.
def = The Hotwheels collector number for the Chevy Nomad.
Please be sure to use stealth and rehide as found as this area is very busy. Once you figure out the final, I suggest you don't walk there in a straight line but find a more stealthy way of getting there, it's not far. The best entry point is 51.435 / 47.537. The area can get muddy, so watch your step. Bring bug spray in spring / summer or work fast. Enjoy the library and its offering while you are there, it’s worth it.
As for the loot: The idea is that you would be trading a Hotwheels car. We will start the cache of with a small collection of Hotwheels and you can pick and choose. If you can’t spare one to trade or can't snatch extras from your grandchild, you may take one for the little ones in your group. We intend to keep this cache well stocked. There is a ToysR’Us at N 42° 51.658 W 073° 46.993 , if you want to get one before you find the cache. Are other brands ok ? Well, I guess that would be ok as well.

Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday: noon - 5 p.m. (closed July 1 through Labor Day)
