Until the end of 2006, I had thought that the trees here has
been completely abandoned. Imagine my surprise when I drove past
one afternoon to see the entire stand pruned... hard. In some case
whole trees where just removed. Most of the brush was removed, but
there's still a fair amount left. Who knows... there may still be
some life left in these old trees yet.
Just in case you don't read the aditional waypoints below... You
will undoubtedly see what looks like a rough road leading to the
cache, but do not attempt to drive to the cache. This area is for
hiking, not off-roading.
You're looking for a cylindrical lock and lock, roughly 4"X4".
