Geocache Description:

A short hike through a forest that looks like it's marked for logging...

This is a 'For Foot Travel Only' trail. There are two ways to get to it but east end has a few parking spots. We spoke with the logger who said it will be all cleared out within 3 months, so if you want a nice walk in a mature red pine forest on a cleared footpath, better 'git 'er done' ! Cache note: 6 Sep 07 and the trees are still there, yay! Cache is the standard 7.62 NATO ammo can located VERY near the trail, since the signs want you to stay on the trail. There's an audio CD of 'Call of the Wild' by Jack London for the FTF to enjoy. As of 8 March 2008 the forest is still there, but there's still logging all around . . . 08 April 2009 update: looks like the logging is done, and they didn't clear-cut it, YAY! CONGRATULATIONS to 'we two want to play too'(901 finds) for the FTF, April 6, 2007!
