This cache hide is located in the Knickerbocker Area of the Auburn State Recreation Area along the Olmstead loop trail in the CCL near Cool. This is a beautiful area in the Sierra Foothills and is well known for hiking, equestrian activities, and mountain bike cycling. The usual trail safety practices are recommended, so watch for poison oak, snakes, and ticks.
Not too long ago and still to the present lives a friendly skunk by the name of Pierre LeFume. Now Pierre is as handsome as a little black and white skunk can be but he seems to have a problem. It seems he has reached the age of maturity and desires to settle down and start a family so the family name of LeFume can continue in the Emporer's realm of the CCL. To date, search as he has, he has been unable to find a like minded sweet paramour who has the same ambition as he. For a skunk this is a big problem! Pierre decides he must seek help and counsel from the wise and benevolent Emperor of the realm. The day of his audition before the Emperor finally arrives. With great anticipation he greets his Emperor and explains his dilemma in detail. The Emperor strokes his long white beard in contemplation and finally says. Pierre, I think I can help you. Here is what we'll do. I'll first send you to my personal barber who will groom you and give you a sweet fragrance. Then you will meet with the counselor of the realm who will instruct and teach you the way to a lady skunks heart. Next you will meet with the Real estate agent of the realm from whom you will receive my gift of a brand new condominium the likes of which no lady skunk can refuse. Then lastly you will see my Alchemist who will provide for you a potion to bring stars to the eyes of your new found lady love. Pierre thanked the Emperor profusely being grateful for the Emperor's wise knowledge. After receiving these gifts Pierre left the presence of the Emperor delighted with new confidence. He soon met Daisey who was dainty, petite and beautiful. She was all his heart could possibly hope for and she became the recipient of his love and affection. Pierre presented her with all that he had received from the CCL Emperor. Daisy's eyes were wide with surprise and delight, she was in fact now envied by all of her lady skunk friends. She accepted Pierre's proposal of marriage and they now have a family of their own. There are many with the family name of LeFume now inhabiting the CCL realm. Today Pierre and Daisey live a life of leisure here in the CCL with a profoundly large posterity. Needless to say everyone lived happily ever after.
