Roots - a Cemet_ry Cache Simplified Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ohjoy!: Upon reflection, after reading the last log, I think it's wise to archive this cache. Great way to reduce my inventory of caches to care for.

Yes, the container is sitting in the sink in my home, getting cleaned out for use elsewhere.

Geocache Description:

When I originally placed this cache as a multi-cache, I wasn't aware that those heading out here would prefer finding simpler caches. As a result, I have now resubmitted it as a traditional one-step cache in hopes that this delightful spot will get more visitors.

I enjoy visiting cemet_ries, exploring headstones and wondering about the history of those people. What caused the early deaths? Did the mother and baby die as a result of the birth? Can I find someone who was born in the 1800s and lived to be more than 60 years old?

On the way back from finding a cache for page 74 (the old version) of the DeLorme Challenge, I spotted this cemet_ry and decided to place a cache here in hopes of bringing others to the site.

This little cemet_ry is well worth a visit. Please park at the entrance and walk a few hundred feet through history to the cache.

The cache container is a film canister.

PS - according to Webster, it is cemetEry.
