This cache is on the scenic trails of Gunpowder Falls State Park
- between Harford and Belair Roads. This Cache is hidden not far
off a well maintained trail that follows the SOUTH side of the
Gunpowder River. This cache is not too far off the trail, be
advised not to leave the trail until absolutely necessary as off
trail terrain would rate a 4-4.5 for difficulty.
This cache is the 7th of 7 being placed by GSTroopers - aka
Cadette/Senior Troop 173 from Fork/Kingsville. We are earning our
"Not Just Another Treasure Hunt" IPA/Badge. We chose this spot
because we can hike in from our home to check on the cache and do
maintenance. Parking is available at Belair Road (Rt 1) about 5.4
miles north of I-695 (the Beltway). For a longer hike, another
possible approach would be Harford Road and the Gunpowder. Good

been a little slow getting our last 3 caches placed in the park,
but recent messages from scout groups staying at Camp Cone gave us
the push we needed to get moving again.
