This is a small cache containing log, pencil, and a few small items. There are always people walking or biking along here so discretion is essential. Parking is free.
This is a puzzle cache. To find the cache you need to work out the actual coordinates, and the given cache coordinates in this cache description are NOT the real cache cooordinates. They bring you very close, but you need to get the actual cache location yourself. You can solve for the parking coordinates as well, long before you arrive at the cache.
Here is how you solve the "Inventor" code. Each coordinate is expressed using the names of a few of some famous Canadian inventions. All Canadian. To de-code the names and create numbers from them, you need to find the LAST name of the Canadian who made the listed invention, and count the letters in that last name. Here is an example:
If coordinate says: (Standard Time)
you unearth Mr Fleming and think (F L E M I N G) = 7
If coordinate says: (Plexiglas)(Paint Roller)
You say: (Chalmers) (Breakey)
Which is (8) (7)
Which is the number 87
Each number stands alone in the coordinate. They are not added together.
Here are your parking coordinates:
PARK AT:
N 43 (Jolly Jumper)(1).(1)(1)(2)
W078 (5)(5) . (1)(Zipper)(Snowblower)
CACHE IS AT:
N 43 (Lawn Sprinkler)(0). (Fathometer)(Basketball)(0)
W078 (Screw Propeller)(Heart Pacemaker). (0)(TV Camera)(Newsprint)
Checksums: (sum of all digits in the minutes only, given or not)
Parking: N = 10, W = 25
Cache: N = 22, W = 26
