A great spot for a picnic where you can enjoy the wide-open blue skies of Arizona. From the parking area coordinates, it is only .2 miles. A gentle climb up a slope with no distinct trail. Mostly scrub trees and large flat rocks you can walk on.
Edited 11/16/09 - Since we placed this cache, we have received several comments in the logs about the coordinates being off. People have this perception because they are using GPS receivers that were made in the last few years. Our GPS is from 1995 and has just enough of a "Wild-A$$-Guess" Factor to make it even more fun. In other words, the day we planted the cache, the coordinates on this page were displayed on our GPS. If we went back today, they would not be the same. But take heart, they can't be over 35 ft wrong in any direction, there are not too many places to hide things up here anyway, and after all, you did come out here for the treasure hunt, right? Have fun.
NOTE - Schnebly Hill Rd is generally closed in the winter, so be sure to verify access is possible on the day you want to have your picnic!
Parking Lot Coordinates are N 34 53.361 / W 111 40.910.
Easy Access - take the Schnebly Hill Rd exit off of I-17 and drive down Schnebly Hill Rd to the parking coordinates.
Challenging Access - take Schnebly Hill Rd out of Sedona to the parking coordinates (very bumpy ride - requires a 4x4 vehicle).
Cache is a tupperware-type food container with a maroon top and clear bottom. Original contents are:

2 Squishy Toy Baseballs*
2 Squishy Toy Basketballs*

*We marked all items with 'Team Grantham AZ' - maybe we'll find them somewhere else one day!
