Cache is an ammo can filled with goodies. (It’s inside the museum/nature center
which is also filled with lots of wonderful things! ?). Please ask for Sherrie.
Is located near the banks of Southern CA ‘s longest river, the Santa Ana, and is in
Riverside County at the Regional Park and Open-Space District. This museum has
a diverse offering of live animal displays, hands on exhibits, and miles of hiking trails
to observe the wide range of wildlife and fauna in this preserve. There are also
campgrounds at the other end of the park. This place will appeal to nature/outdoor
loving persons of all ages! Tours with different emphases-- e.g. nature hikes,
Native American hikes, Trees of the River, Geology, Animal Tracks of the Santa Ana
River, Creek Water study for children, Bird Walks, etc.—are available.

(Park Interpreter). Hours are limited—Open Saturday to the public from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Open Tuesday through Friday by reservation and appointment.
