Geocache Description:

The Final of the "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" series takes you through the main part of Steep Rock park in a 7 stage multi-cache. You should have done the other three stages first. DO NOT GO TO THE COORDINATES ABOVE, ALTHOUGH IT IS CLOSE TO THEM - READ BELOW.

Take the colors of the three log books from Tinker, Tailor, and Soldier. Convert the first letter of the colors to a number in the usual fashion. Add those numbers together.

Example: Blue, Pink, Green = 2+16+7 = 25.

ADD that number to the North coordinates above and SUBTRACT that number from the West coordinates above. That is Stage 1. Parking should be obvious. This is to try to get people to do the series in order. If you have already completed the other three and do not know this information, you can either go back to the finals or e-mail me and I will check completion and forward the information.

This is a seven stage multicache. The route to stage 2 is flat. The route to stage 3 is a moderate hill up. The route to stage 4 is down then flat, and takes you across the suspension bridge near the tunnel. The route to stage 5 is flat and bikes are allowed. The route to stage 6 has a very minimal climb, and the final a moderate climb. You will definitely be faster with a bike as long as you push/carry it in "sensitive" areas, there are signs to tell you when you cannot ride.

This is a beautiful but long loop, and should take a few hours. The hides range from easy to tough, but the purpose is the hike not the hide, so clues should be helpful enough to find them. If anything is missing, or wrong, e-mail me immediately and I can have it fixed in a jiffy. NO NEED TO TAKE APART ANY FOUNDATIONS.

The hike takes you past 4 other geocaches, near stages 3,4, and 5. Be sure to do them, they are all great. But add anywhere from 1-9 hours if you want to do Tunnel Vision !! Just kidding, although it did take me three tries over 2 weeks.

Most of all - HAVE FUN !!

FTF prize for Spy is an autographed special edition of "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" signed by John le Carre. There are also envelopes for the FTF's for the other stages (Moonfox and WAL) which give an unactivated, brand new "Orion and Son" geocoin - to keep or activate and pass along. The prizes are in another location and the envelope coordinates will lead you there, by car. There is also a prize for Jamm, for the quality of recent caches we have done. Enjoy !!
