Geocache Description:

Just off of Dodson Road and South of I-90. Under the power transmission lines. A service road runs along the power lines which will get you near the cache location. If you go to far, there is a place that a 2wd vehicle may not make it as there is some drifting sand across the road.

We see them everywhere, "Power Lines" they are the necessity of our lives. At this cache location there are four sets of lines routing power form Grand Coulee Dam to various parts of the region. One of these lines goes to Hanford. It branches off of just about a half mile from where I hid the cache. Others lines go to other sub stations connecting into a grid. All of these lines make up a spider web of lines across the country.
The cache container is a large peanut butter jar hid under the power line and sage brush. Ther are some useful trade items and a few travel bugs placed when hid.
I gave the name for this cache for the amount of electricity they carry. More than likely these lines are on th high end. They carry 230 kv to 500 kv of electricity.
