Geocache Description:

Take a short (though possibly muddy) hike from Highway 101 into Oswald West State Park for some great views and a bald eagle or two if you're lucky. BEWARE the cliffs!

Parking Coordinates (wide gravel pullout with trail marker): N 45° 44.905, W 123° 57.757

Follow the trail west toward the ocean - there were a couple of very muddy spots in late March, so watch your step! When you find the resting place dedicated to the Alvey family's daughter, you know you're on the right track.

Follow the trail upward, and BEWARE THE DROP-OFF! It's a long way down. PLEASE leash your dog and keep your kids close at hand.

You're looking for a medium plastic cylinder, camo-taped.

EDIT: If you find a small rectangular container, it's a letterbox, please write me and let me know where you found it, as it's gone missing.
