A simple hide in Barunga Creek for those who have ventured a little from the highway.
Note the river red gums and rocks that proliferate in the Barunga Ranges! The creek itself only runs a few days each year, so you are unlikely to get wet. Traffic over the cache is not expected, unless the tourist run from Sowtown to Bute is opened.
The difficulty rating is in part related to the trouble we had getting a reliable GPS reading over a couple of days. You don't need to climb or clamber to claim the cache unless you want to.
