Geocache Description:

A part of the Shaekespeare-themed caches. This cache is an ammo can filled with goodies.

Since the area boosts a Shakespeare summer theatre festival. I thought it appropriate to place some Shakespeare-themed caches. After all, many of Shakespeare's locations are outdoors, and even some of his themes are heavily influenced by the outdoors.

In Antony and Cleopatra, a number of river and sea battles take place as Antony battles both for and against the Roman Empire. It is during one of these sea battles that Cleopatra and the Egyptian navy abandon Antony.

With such reliance on water, it seemed appropriate that this cache be placed near water (the Root River). And being near a boat landing made the most sense. Imagine, as you approach the cache, that the canoers and inner-tube-riders that go past are a part of the Egyptian or Roman fleet. And beware of muggles!

The original contents of this cache contains a FTF magnet; a "No Fear" edition of this play which can be taken by anyone with an interest in reading the play; a selection of toys; a Travel bug; and a geocoin.

Some bushwacking is involved to get to the cache site. Good GPSr readings available when placing the cache, but the surrounding flora has not had the leaves come out yet.
