Regatta Point is part of the Quinsigamond State Park along Lake Avenue in Worcester. This picturesque area is at the shore of Lake Quinsigamond which separates Worcester to the west and Shrewsbury to the east. The 25 acre Regatta Point area offers facilities for swimming, sailing, picnicking, fishing, and now geocaching!
The area is used extensively for sailing and rowing crew regattas. The 2,000 meter rowing course established on Lake Quinsigamond is internationally recognized as one of the best courses in the world. From Regatta Point enjoy a picnic, relax, or watch the local collegiate crew teams train for their competitions.
The area now contains a micro cache, small enough for a log only (BYOP). Beware of muggles and please replace the cache just as you find it. NOTE: In the late spring and summer, there is a FEE to park in the Regatta lot, but free parking is available nearby. During the off-season parking is free.
Park hours are 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.
