Your final lesson towards a
degree in Geocachology from Geocaching State University
Great...you've completed all the prerequisites. Here's your
senior project.
This final at the Carolina WMA Campus of Geocaching State
University in Hope Valley, RI keeps building on your skills and
adds a twist. "GC401 - The Puzzle" takes the basic cache (of any
variety), and ups the difficulty by requiring you to do some
decoding or solving of a puzzle in order to find the
coordinates.
This type of standard "decode" should not be too alien to anyone
with a couple of caches under their belt. There's no need to go on
a bender if you can't figure it out...there are a couple of clues
around to help you! The listed coordinates are meaningless.
Parking and trail head locations are left as an exercise for the
student. Round trip is a little over 1 mile, mostly on a nice wide
lane.

Complete this assignment, and you can hold your head high -
you've earned your Geocachology Degree!
You can check your answers for this puzzle on
Geochecker.com.
Maps are available at the DEM Website. You should
let someone know where you are headed, and bring a cell phone. A
caching buddy is also a good idea. Please plan accordingly, and
wear appropriate clothing and shoes, and bring enough water and
food for the walk. An emergency card such a
this one is also a good idea.
