Bluebells1 is located near the site of my first cache "Bluebells"
The cache is named after the flowers that bloom in the damp wooded area in April and early May. Get here in season and you'll be treated to the sight of these beauties covering the stream valley floor, as far as you can see in every direction. Terrain is rated as a 2 because you will encounter mud as you hike in. Parking is available at Ben Lomond Park near the soccer fields (see coordinates below). This is about 0.6 miles from the cache. Find and follow the streamside trail until you are a few feet from the cache, then carefully bushwhack the last steps. Careful not trample the flowers.
