Geocache Description:

nice hike to a cache near some old furnace ruins

The cache is located on a ridge near glenwhite run in SGL 198 along sr4008(glenwhite road) past the horseshoe curve.There are old furnace ruins that run for a couple hundred yards along a ridge above the stream. The furnaces are over grown w/ vegetation but are very interesting. The cache is a camo plastic container and is not inside any of the ruins. Suggested parking cords are N40 30.134 W078 30.883. There is a water hazard w/ Glenwhite run. If you park at the suggested cords you can walk up the road to a green gate and cross the stream via a bridge. If the water level is low you can probably cross the stream and head directly to the ridge and furnace ruins.
