Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Yough River Bike Trail in an area
where my friends and I used to spend quite a bit of time in our
younger days. We used to walk this route along the abandoned
railroad tracks that have been removed to make way for the bike
trail, so we could go fishing or take our inner tubes up the river
to enjoy a nice float trip down the river. One of the most exciting
parts of the trip was when we would float through the rapids of
Mojo! “Mojo” is the name of the swift part of the river that flows
around the bike trail side of “Mojo Island”. Sometimes we would
launch our inner tubes from the opposite side of the river, near
the South Connellsville Rod & Gun Club, but we would
immediately paddle the whole way across the river, just to shoot
the rapids of Mojo! Of course, this was all way back when ‘ol
Mooman was much younger and thinner! Initially, I thought of
placing the final out on Mojo Island, but after considering the
maintenance issues and the risk of flooding, I decided against it.
So this is what I’ve come up with instead, I hope you enjoy it!

Stage one of this cache is located between two of the old railroad
trestles that the bike trail now utilizes. You will find that you
have to leave the bike trail to get to this area. The terrain
rating for this part all depends on how well you use your head!
There is an easy way and a hard way, that’s all the info I’m
providing, the rest is up to you! As with all multi caches, there
are a few things you need to find before continuing on to the
final. And, of course those things would be the latitude and the
longitude of the final stage! There will be two ways to obtain
these coordinates. One way is to find the two stainless steel
plates that I’ve mounted near the above coordinates; they have the
coordinates for the final stamped on them. If the plates have
become illegible or have gone missing (this is Fayette Cong), you
may find them PAINTED nearBY. EYE always have a HOOK, don't I?

The final stage is located farther up the trail near the mouth of Mojo.
The terrain is a bit rocky here, but, if you’re careful, everything
should be fine. There is also a nice little spot across the trail
to take a break and relax, with a bench and a small waterfall. If
you continue down the path near the final, you will also see some
interesting rock formations.

* Also, be it interesting or not, if you look across the river from the one trestle, you will see the place where fellow cachers JimBat, Jigsaw07 and I all work … and spend quite a bit of time talkin’ cache. Imagine that!
