This cache is located in a portion of heavily wooded land owned by the state highway dept. It is a wedge of land between two roads, WA Hwy 8 and Winslow Road, thus the name of the cache. Do not try to park on Rt 8! Parking for the cache is on Winslow Road, which is easily accessed from either eastbound or westbound Rt 8.
Revised cache and location 14 April 2007. This cache has been modified to place it closer to the road and is much easier to find than the original cache to help preserve this beautiful area. Please step lightly and enjoy the trilliums and other plants.
No puzzles to solve here, just go and find the cache!! The cache is a painted Costco nut jar. GPS reception tends to be spotty in the area of the cache. There is sort of a trail going in to the cache area from Winslow Rd. There a few trade items in the cache including a group of foreign coins for trade or exchange.
